The album, which is widely regarded as a landmark in music history, was originally released in 1996 and received a lavish 25th-anniversary reissue five years ago, remastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Upcoming Box Set Release
In May, DJ Shadow will release The Mo’Wax Singles 1993-1997, a box set that includes eight 12-inch records featuring all of his singles for James Lavelle’s Mo’Wax label. This collection will also contain alternative mixes and new artwork. Shadow has stated that the box set was created with hardcore fans in mind, emphasizing the importance of quality in the production process. He remarked, “This box wasn’t made for the casual listener, it was made with the hardcore fan in mind.”

As part of this retrospective celebration, DJ Shadow is open to answering questions about his career, including his innovative sampling techniques, collaborations with various artists, and memorable performances.
